VALGANCICLOVIR (VALCYTE) TABLET – TREATMENT FOR CYTOMEGALOVIRUS INFECTION
Valganciclovir or Valcyte 450mg Tablet is used to treat adult patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome who have cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the retina (retinitis) (AIDS). It is also used to prevent CMV infection in patients who have had organ transplants from CMV-infected donors.
