Description
Description:
Fedelty Health Care operates companies in Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Cambodia, Oman, Brazil, Lebanon, Chile, Peru, Cuba, and Fiji as Eligard 22.5mg Injection third-party manufacturer, major pharma exporter, and pharmaceutical contract manufacturer. Hospital supply, government supply, named patient supply, cold chain supply, and drop shipment are some of the other services they offer.
Eligard 22.5mg Injection is used in the treatment of prostate cancer. It is also used to treat endometriosis (endometrium of the uterus grows excessively and causes symptoms like pain, heavy or irregular periods), uterine fibroids and central precocious puberty (very early puberty).
This Injection contains Leuprolide that belongs to the class of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists. It is a synthetic hormone that acts similar to the GnRH, produced by the hypothalamus gland in the brain. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of the natural male hormone, testosterone in men and oestrogen in women. This process of lowering hormone levels can decrease cancer cell’s growth in prostate cancer in men and shrinks endometriosis and breast cancer in women.
It is given as an injection under the skin by a qualified medical professional. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.
