WORKS OF CLLASTIM & IMIPENEM (I NEM) INJECTION
Imipenem and Cilastatin are two medications included in I Nem Injection. An antibiotic is an imipenem. It functions by halting the development of the bacterial protective coating, which is necessary for germs to survive in the human body. Cilastatin, a dehydropeptidase I inhibitor, prevents the enzyme (dehydropeptidase I) from breaking down imipenem by blocking its action.
