CEFPODOXIME (FORTUM) INJECTION – TREATMENT OF BACTERIAL DISEASES

An antibiotic from the cephalosporin family, ceftazidime injection is used to treat bacterial infections in your body. It works well against infections of the blood, heart, bones, lungs, brain (including meningitis), ear, urinary system, skin, soft tissues, and bones.

How Ceftazidime Injection should be taken?

You can consume Ceftazidime Injection with or without food. Water should be consumed along with it. Take this drug consistently each day at approximately the same time(s). The dosage and frequency will be determined by your primary care provider. Depending on how well it is working, this might occasionally alter. Avoid stopping it suddenly without talking to your doctor first because doing so could make your chest pain return.
