Atorvastatin 40mg Tablet is a member of the class of drugs known as statins. It is used to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. A greasy substance called cholesterol builds up in your veins and causes them to constrict, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke.
How Atorvastatin 40mg Tablet is used?
When taken as prescribed by a doctor, the medicine atorvastatin 40mg tablet is widely accepted as safe for long-term use. It is entirely possible to take it before or after dinner. You can take it whenever you like during the day, but try to take it at the same time every day. Most people who have increased cholesterol are not unwell, but stopping your medicine could raise your cholesterol levels, worsening your condition and increasing your risk of heart disease and stroke.
Side effects of Tablet

This medicine typically causes obstruction, farting, dyspepsia, and stomach pain. They are usually mild and go quickly. See your PCP if they persist, if you observe any yellowing of your eyes, recur in the future, or if you get unexplained muscle pain.
