Avas – Atorvastatin Tablet
Description
ATORVASTATIN (AVAS) TABLET – TREATMENT OF HEART ATTACK
Avas Tablet is a combination of two prescribed medications used to prevent heart attacks and strokes. It lowers the body’s levels of “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and other fatty compounds while increasing levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL). Additionally, it lessens the formation of blood clots.
How is Avas Tablet used?
To prevent stomach upset, Avas Tablet should be consumed with meals. Taking it regularly at equally spaced intervals is advised, in accordance with the schedule recommended by your health care physician. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The extent and length of your therapy will depend on what you are receiving it for. When you feel fine, try to continue taking it until you have finished the entire course.

Heartburn, obstruction, and stomach pain are among the common side effects of this medication. Because this medicine increases your risk of death, you should exercise caution when using sharp objects, shaving, cutting your nails, or playing physical activities (e.g., football, wrestling).
