Description
APREMILAST (PDLAST) TABLET – TREATMENT OF PLAQUE PSORIASIS
The skin condition known as moderate to severe plaque psoriasis is treated with apremilast 30mg Tablet. When other conventional treatments are ineffective or the patient is intolerant to or unresponsive to any of these treatments, this medication is employed.
How Apremilast is used?
You can take one apremilast 30mg tablet with or without food. Even if you feel better, continue taking the medication until your doctor advises you it’s okay to stop. Take it on a regular basis. While taking the medication, you might need to routinely check your weight because it might make you lose weight.
Common side effects of this Tablet:
Some common side effects of this medication include nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. Inform your doctor if these side effects last longer or develop worse. By recommending an alternate medication or changing the dose, your doctor may be able to assist you in finding strategies to treat or prevent these effects.
Before using this Tablet, be sure to tell your doctor about all the medications you are now taking so they can ensure the medication is safe for you. Before using this medication, check with your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing.
Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have liver, renal, or heart illness, or if you’re taking any antibiotics.
