APREMILAST (APILAST) TABLET – TREATMENT OF PLAQUE PSORIASIS
Apilast 10mg Tablet is used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, a type of skin condition when other conventional treatments are ineffective or the patient is intolerant to any of these treatments.
How Apilast 10mg Tablet is used?
This tablet should be taken with or without food. Take it on a regular basis and don’t stop taking it even if you feel better until your doctor says so. We may need to monitor your weight on a regular basis while you are taking the medication because it may cause weight loss.
Common side effects of this Tablet:
This medication may cause a few common side effects, including nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Your doctor may be able to assist you in reducing or preventing these symptoms by prescribing an alternative medication or adjusting the dose.
Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, liver or kidney problems, or if you are taking any antibiotics. Many other medications may be affected as well. This medication, so makes sure your healthcare team is aware of all medications you are taking. This medication should not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. To avoid pregnancy, both males and females must use effective contraception during treatment.
