AMPHOTERICIN B (AMBISOME) INJECTION – TREATMENT FOR FUNGAL INFECTION
AmBisome (amphotericin B liposomal) is an antifungal medication used to treat parasitic diseases. AmBisome is used to treat genuine, dangerous contagious diseases such as leishmaniasis and a specific type of meningitis in HIV-infected individuals (human immunodeficiency infection). AmBisome is not intended to treat minor contagious diseases such as yeast contamination of the mouth, throat, or vagina.
AmBisome contains genuine liposomes with a width of less than 100 nm. A schematic representation of the liposome is shown below. AmBisome for Injection is a sterile, non-pyrogenic lyophilized product for intravenous administration. AmBisome is made up of unilamellar bilayer liposomes with amphotericin B intercalated inside.
Side Effect:
Torment in your chest, beating heartbeats, or vacillation in your chest
Feeling shaky or short of breath
Potassium deficiency (perplexity, uneven heart rate, outrageous thirst, expanded pee, leg uneasiness, limp feeling)
Loss of craving, retching, and urinating less frequently or not at all
Swelling and rapid weight gain
Pale skin, flaws, rapid heart rate, difficulty concentrating
Muscle agony, delicacy, or deficiency (particularly if you also have a fever, irregular tiredness, and dim-hued pee).
