Description

AMISULPRIDE (ASPIDE) TABLETS – TREATMENT OF SCHIZOPHRENIA

A prescription drug called Aspide Tablet is used to treat schizophrenia, a mental illness that can cause hallucinations or delusions and negatively impact a person’s thought process and behavior.

How Aspide Tablet is used?

You can take Aspide Tablets with or without food. Your doctor might prescribe a lesser dose at first, then gradually increase it. Even if you feel fine, do not change the dosage or stop taking it without first consulting your doctor. If you do, your illness could get worse or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms (anxiety, restlessness, palpitations, dizziness, sleep disturbances, etc.).

Common Side effects of This Tablet:

Some frequent adverse effects of this medication include dry mouth, nausea, and vomiting. However, notify your PCP right away if you experience a skin rash or redness. It might develop into Stevens-Johnson disorder, a dangerous skin condition. Long-term usage of this drug increases the risk of breaking a bone and can lead to osteoporosis (decreased bone mass). These anticonvulsants and similar drugs have been linked to suicidal thoughts and behaviors. In the unlikely event that you get depressed, let your primary care doctor know.

Precautions:

It’s possible that not everyone should use this drug. Tell your PCP before taking it if you’ve ever experienced heart problems, kidney or liver disease, difficulty urinating, suffering, or suicidal thoughts. Inform your primary care physician of all the drugs you need to take so they can guarantee they are safe as many different medications can interfere with it and some shouldn’t be used together. If you are pregnant, talk to your doctor before starting or stopping any medicine. Avoiding alcohol use is advised because it can worsen some symptoms and increase your risk of seizures.
