Betahistine 16mg tablet is used to prevent and cure Ménière’s disease, an inner ear disorder. The symptoms include vertigo, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), and hearing loss, which is thought to be caused by fluids in the ear. This drug relieves symptoms by reducing the number of fluids in the body.
How Betahistine 16mg tablet is used?
To obtain the best benefit, the Betahistine 16mg pill should be swallowed with water and taken at the same time(s) every day. Your primary care physician will determine the appropriate dose to relieve your symptoms and how frequently you should take it. You may need to take this medication for a time, and you should take it for as long as your PCP recommends, regardless of whether you start feeling substantially better.
Common side effects of this Tablet:
The most well-known side effects include headaches, fatigue, and heartburn (dyspepsia). You may also have stomach pain and edema. Taking the drug with food can help alleviate stomach problems.
