AMITRIPTYLINE (SHINE) TABLET – TREATMENT OF DEPRESSION

Amitriptyline 10-mg Tablets are used to treat migraines, neuropathic pain, and depression.

How Amitriptyline 10mg Tablet is used?

To receive the best effect, amitriptyline 10-mg Tablet should be taken either with or without meals, but always at the same time every day. It should be regarded as your PCP’s advice. Depending on what you are taking it for will determine how much and how often you should take it. Your PCP will determine how much you require to reduce your symptoms. No matter how long it is advised for you to take this medicine, you must do so. It is best to take the next dose as soon as you remember it if you have missed any doses in the past. However, you should never eat two portions at once.

Common side effects of this Tablet:

The most well-known symptoms of this medication incorporate Constipation, Dryness in the mouth, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Increased heart rate, Weight gain, Aggressive behavior, Nasal congestion (stuffy nose), Sleepiness, Sweating, Dizziness, Headache, Nausea, Tremor, Speech disorder, Accommodation disorder, Palpitations, Difficulty in paying attention.  If this troubles you or seem genuine, let your PCP know. There might be methods of diminishing or forestalling them. You should abstain from driving or consider looking for action while on treatment.

Precautions before Using this Tablet.

Inform your primary care physician if you have hypertension, liver, renal, or cardiac problems before beginning this medicine. In the case that you are expecting or nursing, inform your PCP. Your primary care physician should also consider any other medicines you are currently taking because a lot of them might alter how this drug works or make it less effective. In general, it is advised to abstain from alcohol while receiving therapy.
