BOTULINUM (BOTOX) INJECTION – TREATMENT FOR SPASTICITY OF THE UPPER AND LOWER LIMB
When used to treat conditions like upper and lower limb spasticity, cervical dystonia (severe neck muscle spasms), certain eye muscle conditions brought on by nerve disorders, chronic migraine, bladder issues, excessive sweating, etc., Botox Injection is a chemical made from the bacteria Clostridium botulinum. It is also used for some aesthetic purposes, including reducing the visibility of facial wrinkles and improving the look of moderate to severe glabellar lines.

WORKS OF BOTULINUM (BOTOX) INJECTION
An expert medical practitioner will inject you with this drug. In the treatment of eye conditions, muscle stiffness/spasms, and wrinkles, it is injected intramuscularly (into the afflicted muscles). It is injected into the head and neck muscles when used to stop headaches. To cure excessive sweating, it is injected (intradermally) into the skin.

- Pain at the injection site

WARNING & PRECAUTIONS
- Driving
Botox Injection may impair your alertness, impair your vision, or cause you to feel drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.
- Kidney
In patients with severe kidney disease, Botox Injection should be used with caution. Botox Injection dosage may need to be adjusted. Please consult your physician.
There is little information on the use of Botox Injection in these patients. In patients with mild to moderate kidney disease, no dose change is indicated.
- Liver
In patients with liver problems, Botox Injection should be used with caution. Botox Injection dosage may need to be adjusted. Please consult your physician.

- Pregnancy
Botox Injection should not be used during pregnancy because there is clear evidence of danger to the developing infant. However, if the advantages outweigh the hazards, the doctor may seldom prescribe it in life-threatening conditions. Please consult your physician.
